Early Friday afternoon, fire be-
lieved caused from a defective
chimney, partly destroyed the John
Cilek home. The Solon fire depart-
ment was summoned and, with the
assistance of the neighbors, all the
households furnishings were re-
moved. The loss was covered by
insurance.
