First grade girls and their moth-
ers were introduced to the Blue
Bird program at a tea Tuesday af-
ternoon in the all-purpose room of
the elementary school• Hostesses
were members of the Mr. Vernon
Camp Fire board. Mrs. G. H. Scobey
and Mrs. R. A. Sautter, in charge of
arrangements, were assisted in
serving by Mines. Lloyd Ellison,
James Dutcher, Lester Buresh and
Mervyn Armstrong. Mrs. J. M. Mac-
aulay and Mrs. Richard Stoltz also
assisted•
Mrs. Ellison spoke briefly on the
various services the Blue Birds and
Camp Fire girls perform for others•
TEACHERS TO BE HONORED
Mrs. James Dutcher and Mrs. Art
Coultas, room mothers, will hold
open house at the Coultas home
this Thursday, May 16, from 8 to
9:30 p.m. for junior high teachers
and their husbands or wives. The:
special teachers in the school are
also invited.
Sunday dinner guests in the home
of the Joseph Pospisils jr. were the
Richard Russell family of Prairie-
burg, the Joseph Pospisils sr., the
Robert Pospisil family and the Paul
Pospisils. Sunday evening the eld-
ed Mrs. Pospisil received a Moth-
er's Day telephone call from her
daughter, Mrs. Ray Bader of Casper,
