Hannshs now has a posi- tion in a large fruit and confectionery house 'in Boulder 0010., where he is pleasantly located and apparently is in improving health. —Miss Della Goding has gone to Montana in response to summons from her sister, Miss Clara, who went there a few weeks since. The ladies will both engage in teaching. ~Messrs. Barrett & Stevenson have moved their grocery store into the room two doors east of the corner, just vacated by Mrs. Moses, where they will have additional and needed space. -—Prof. W. G. Ebersole left Monday forashort vacation trip prior to the beginning of the year’s work at Cor- nell. He travels across country on his bicycle and will visit at Toledo and other Iowa points. ——Mr. Bette was in ZCedar Rapids yesterday to arrange with the firm who are to put in the baths for the Y. M. C. A. The contract calls for 3 shower and 1 tub bath. Dr. and Mrs. Luke Hitchcock of Chicago are guests of Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Bauman. The venerable Doctor is one of the grandest men in Method- ism.
