Meeting Sept. 23
The Mt. Vernon Woman's Club
will soon start off its new year's
program of general and department
meetings. The membership is open
to all women of Mt. Vernon, Lis-
bon and surrounding area who are
interested in the inspiration and
fellowship such an organization af-
fords. Membership chairman is
Mrs. C. J. Kramer.
Program books will be printed
this month, to be distributed at the
first general meeting, Monday even-
ing, Sept. 23. All general meetings
are held the fourth Monday even-
ing of the month. Dues are three
dollars. The roll will remain as in
last year's books unless members
have requested that their names be
dropped. A request should be made
so that a member's name remain
in good standing, in case she
wishes later to rejoin here or a
federated group elsewhere.

over Trail Ridge road and Berthoud
Pass in the Rockies, visited Colo-
rado Springs, followed the skyline
drive out of Canon City and crossed
the suspension bridge over the
Royal Gorge.
Enroute home they were unable
to find a place to stay over night at
]Hastings or Lincoln, Nebr so kept
