Anonymous corn- IdditionaI Local --The faculty of Cornell now has a regular atllletic instructor anti director and more than the usual interest is being taken in athletics for this time of the year here. Foot ball practice is going on and considerable confidence is expressed as to the possibility of devel- oping quite a respectable team this fall. In the management of any foot ball team, supposed to be the representative team of the college, we trust a little discrimination in making dates with teams away from home will be observed. The promiscuous mixing in athletics bicycle rider, and others will appear on the platform, giving a performance ex- celing anything ever seen in an opera house, and for which a charge of $1 would be made. This is but one of the score of the good things provided for the people this year There will be horse and bicycle racing, fancy bicycle and horse riding, chariot races, balloon races, parachute leaps, great trapese performance, day and night fireworks and the greatest and best of all a real- istic reproduction of the battle of all squirrel grey.
